Jak vybrat vhodný LED pásek
1. Krytí
Prvně je třeba zvážit, do jakého místa chceme LED pásek instalovat a podle toho vybrat odpovídající stupeň krytí IP. Jednoduše řečeno, čím vyšší stupeň krytí, tím odolnější je produkt vůči vnějším vlivům jako voda, prach atd. Zpravidla se objevují dva typy:
IP 20 – LED pásek je určen výhradně do vnitřních prostor, kde se neočekává vlhkost (pod skříňky, za televizi, schodiště, …)
IP 66 - LED pásek je vodotěsný, lze ho použít téměř kdekoliv a v exteriérech.
2. Barva světla
Důležitým parametrem je také barva světla u LED pásek, která je vyjádřena v Kelvinech (K). Běžně se užívají tři základní barvy světla:
Teplá bílá (2500-3000 K) – teple působící barva, svítící do žluta
Neutrální bílá (4000-4500 K) – neutrální, někdy nazývána denní světlo
Studená bílá (5000 a více K) – studená barva, svítící do modra
V poslední době se začaly využívat i jiné barvy jako červená, žlutá, modrá, zelená, či kombinace RGB (červená-zelená-modrá), u níž se dají jednotlivé odstíny přepínat pomocí ovladače, nebo na stejném principu fungující kombinace teplá-studená bílá.
3. Počet diod na metr a délka LED pásku
Počet diod udává kolik jednotlivých LED diod je umístěno na 1 metru pásku. Čím více diod na metr, tím méně jsou patrná tmavá místa mezi diodami.
Délka LED pásku je vždy jasně uvedena u produktu a zpravidla činí 5 m. Je však třeba říci, že každý LED pásek je rozdělen na segmenty o délce 2,5 až 25 cm a jejich násobky (záleží na typu LED pásku), které lze ustřihnout a samostatně využívat. Údaj o délce segmentů je také vždy uveden u produktu.
4. Výkon a svítivost
Dalším parametrem, který Vás bude bezesporu zajímat je výkon a svítivost LED pásků. Výkon je zpravidla udáván ve Wattech na metr (W/m) a výrazně souvisí se svítivostí/světelným tokem udávaným v lumenech (lm). Tyto parametry nám říkají, jak moc bude daný LED pásek svítit a jak bude energeticky náročný - pokud tedy umísťujeme LED pásek třeba za televizi, je vhodné zvolit nižší svítivost, aby nás neoslňoval, zatímco u instalace pod kuchyňskou linku se nebojme zvolit pásek s vyšší svítivostí.
V případě výkonnějších LED pásků (10 W/m a více) doporučujeme chladit je pomocí umístění na hliníkové ALU lišty/profily, jenž výrazně prodlouží životnost pásků a zabrání tak zničení pásku. Tyto hliníkové profily můžete najít v naší nabídce.
5. Napájecí zdroj pro LED pásky
Posledním faktorem, bez kterého se LED pásek nemůže obejít, je jeho zdroj. Tímto jsou myšleny transformátory, neboli „trafa“, které přeměňují střídavý proud ze sítě na stejnosměrný proud použitelný pro LED pásky. Zpravidla se objevují dva typy pásků, a to s napětím 12 V nebo 24 V – pro každý typ je třeba zvolit odpovídající trafo.
Při výběru zdroje je třeba se soustředit i na další parametr, jímž je výkon. Vypočítáte ho jednoduše vynásobením délky vámi zvoleného pásku s výkonem na metr (W/m) – tzn. při použití pásku o délce 2 m a výkonu 12 W/m je výsledné číslo 24 (2 x 12). Z důvodu optimální funkce pásků je třeba přičíst k tomuto údaji ještě rezervu ve výši cca 20 % - v našem případě by to bylo dalších 4,8 W. Minimální výkon zdroje v uvedeném případě by tedy byl 28,8 W à2 x 12 W + 20 % (4,8 W). Z naší nabídky pak vyberete vhodný zdroj s vyšší wattáží.
V neposlední řadě je u zdroje třeba zvážit stupeň krytí IP dle Vámi plánovaného umístění tohoto zdroje (viz bod 1).
